COUNTY OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. STATE OF HAWAII '722 08 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). WHEREAS, Brantley Center, Inc., is anon-profit agency in the District of Hamakua, whose mission statement is to provide quality rehabilitation services in addressing community needs for vocational training and independent living skills training to people with mental, emotional, and/or physical disabilities; and WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii, through its non-profit grant program, has appropriated to the Brantley Center, Inc. grants in FY 2005-2006, FY 2006-2007, FY 2007-2008 and FY 2008-2009 for $23,000; $21,000; $25,000 and $10,000, respectively; and WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Council approved the Human Services and Economic Development Committee's recommendation that Brantley Center, Inc. be appropriated $10,000 in Ordinance No. 08-78, the FY 2008-2009 Operating Budget, which was a $15,000 or sixty percent (60%) decrease to the amount requested by Brantley Center, Inc.; and WHEREAS, Contingency Relief Funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Mass Transit Agency to help defray operational/transportation costs for Brantley Center, Inc.; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the following amount is hereby transferredlappropriated as set for the below: FUND: GENERAL: AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $10,000 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $10,000 CREDITED TO: 010.311.5311.02 Mass Transit Agency $10,000 Mass Transit OCE (Brantley Center, Inc.)
