NO. 902 /RESOLUTION NO. 290-9& <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 902, and <br /> attached Resolution No. 290-98, reports as follows: <br /> The purpose of Resolution No. 290-98 is to authorize the County, pursuant to Section 23-10 of the <br /> Hawaii County Code and Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, to accept donations <br /> of real property from John T. Goss, Trustee of Hamakua Sugar Company, Inc. Mr. Goss's donation of <br /> that specific portion of the Haina Mill Road provides access to the Haina Mill Camp and the County's <br /> Haina park. It is located in the District of Hamakua, Island and County of Hawaii, identified as Tax <br /> May Key No. (3) 4-5-02:Portions 1 I and 2l. <br /> Communication No. 902 is a letter from Mr. Gerald Takase, Deputy Corporation Counsel, dated <br /> May 26, 1998, which transmits Resolution 290-98 to the County Council for its review and <br /> consideration. <br /> Communication No. 902.0 l is f <br /> rom Mr. Jacob Thomas, President of the Haina Community Association, <br /> dated August 4, 1998, in support of Resolution 290-98 on behalf of the community. <br /> Communication No. 902.02 is from Mr. James H. Watson, respectfully for John T.
