The Official <br /> Transportation Network Map shall show proposed transit routes, proposed <br /> arterials and collectors, and pedestrian/bicycle paths (see Figures 4-2a to 4-2d). <br /> This map shall designate the functional classification of the roadway. The purpose <br /> of this map is to show intended interconnections, plan and preserve these <br /> corridors, budget public improvements, and provide notice to affected landowners <br /> of potential impacts from these projects. <br /> <br /> Action TRAN-L 1 a: Adopts Official Transportation Network Map (Enacted by <br /> plan). <br /> <br /> Action TRAN-1. lb: Update the accuracy of the Official Transportation Network <br /> Maps with Alignment locations as they are determined through preliminary <br /> engineering reports or other plans and/or studies (Figures 4-2a and 4-2b) (PD, on- <br /> going). <br /> <br /> # 2. <br /> Policy TRAN-6.1: Official Concurrency Map. The Kona UA shall be <br /> designated as a "Critical road area", as defined in HCC 25-2-46. <br /> Rezonings within the Kona UA shall comply with the Official Concurrency Map <br /> (See Table 4-1 and Figure 4-3), which identifies the road segments to be <br /> constructed concurrent with occupancy of units as the minimum "area <br /> mitigation", as defined in HCC 25-2-46 (Zoning Code). <br /> The Official Concurrency Map assumes: <br /> 1. The widening of Queen Ka`ahumanu Highway to four lanes from the Kona <br /> International Airport to Henry Street, and <br /> 2. Completion of the Mamalahoa Bypass Road to the Napo`opo`o junction. <br /> <br /> Any rezoning outside of a designated TOD within the Kona UA approved prior to <br /> completion of the Queen Ka`ahumanu Highway widening to the Airport shall <br />
