20 Oct 1998 <br /> We, the Board of Directors of the Mainstreet Pahoa Association, <br /> would like to take this opportunity to express our support for the <br /> Tsubota/Metcalf efforts to build a new home for Pahoa Auto Parts . <br /> It is our opinion that requirements for urban style curbs, <br /> gutters and sidewalks should be waived in this instance . We feel <br /> the rustic flavor of our area would not be enhanced by such <br /> infrastructure built for a 60 ' right of way on the approaches to <br /> the historic small village commercial district where 30 ' right of <br /> way prevails .
