COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. ~ <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the Real Women Creative Writing Contest celebrates National Women's <br />History Month, which is held in the month of March; and <br />WHEREAS, schools and communities recognize and celebrate the lives of women of all <br />races, ages, cultures, ethnic traditions, and ways of life; and <br />WHEREAS, the students honor the women in their family or in their community that <br />have made a difference in their lives by writing an essay about them; and <br />WHEREAS, students from the Island's public, private, charter, and Hawaiian immersion <br />schools submit essays; and <br />WHEREAS, a luncheon is held For the students and their honored women; and <br />WHEREAS, the contest is sponsored by the Hawaii County Committee on the Status of <br />Women, with cooperation from the Department of Education; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to <br />the Office of Management to be used for the Real Women Creative Writing Contest sponsored <br />by the Committee on the Status of Women; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 .Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $500 <br />
