COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7~2 ~~ <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING TIME ELEMENT OF A CUSTODIAN/GROUNDSKEEPER I <br />(1/4T) TO HALF TIME <br />WHEREAS, Position no. 04770, aCustodian/Groundskeeper I (1/4T) position within the <br />Hawaii County Police Department, is located at the Ka'u station; and <br />WHEREAS, this position also services the Hawaiian Ocean View Estate (HOVE) sub-station; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, increasing the position's time element from 1/4 time (10 hours per week) to 1/2 <br />time (20 hours per week) will allow for the maintenance of the HOVE sub-station to be increased from <br />twice a month to twice a week; and <br />WHEREAS, the additional time will provide travel time and allow for more maintenance time at <br />the Ka`u station as well; and <br />WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds available in the Ka'u Police's Regular Salaries and <br />Wages account (010.201.5213.01.011). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />that Position No. 04770, Custodian/Groundskeeper I (1/4T), BC-02, be changed to half time. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there are sufficient funds available in the Ka'u Police's <br />Regular Salaries and Wages account (010.201.5213.01.011). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Finance, <br />Police, and Human Resources Departments. <br /> <br />
