The <br /> amendment is as follows: <br /> <br /> From: <br /> 3303.44 Federal Grants - Community Oriented Policing Pgm - Police General $116,400 <br /> <br /> To: <br /> 010.201.5216.16 Community Oriented Policing Pgm - Police General $116,400 <br /> <br /> The Hawaii Community Foundation is providing additional funding in the amount of $116,400, as part of its <br /> Community Oriented Policing Services Grant, to the Hawaii County Police Department. These funds are <br /> derived from the U. S. Department of Justice, Community Oriented Policing federal grant program, which will <br /> be used to purchase needed equipment, and to train officers to better assist the department in its current "war" <br /> against the ice epidemic.
