COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. '7S5 OS <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPOPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, to honor all veterans in Hawaii County, the Hawaii Island Veterans <br />Memorial, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization consisting of veterans <br />organizations representing a broad spectrum of the Hawaii County community, is sponsoring a <br />Veterans' Memorial parade on November 8, 2008 in Hilo, Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, participants in the event will consist of veterans organizations and <br />individuals from Hawaii County representing various branches of the United States Armed <br />Forces who bravely served our country; and <br />WHEREAS, financial assistance has been requested by the Hawaii Island Veterans <br />Memorial, Inc. for the November 8, 2008 Veterans' Memorial parade, which funding request has <br />been approved by the Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 for $1,000 will be <br />appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to provide financial assistance for the <br />Annual Veterans' Day Parade; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 <br />CREDITED TO: <br /> <br /> <br />GENERAL <br />$1,000 <br />Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief <br />$1,000 <br />010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation, $1,000 <br />Culture & Arts OCE <br />(Annual Veterans' Day Parade) <br />
