COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 741 0$ <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDTTING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the County ofHawai`i Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is <br />comprised of retired and senior citizens from the community who volunteer their time and utilize <br />their skills to contribute and give back to their community; and <br />WHEREAS, RSVP volunteers utilize their personal automobiles to do their volunteer <br />work and are reimbursed mileage on a funds availability basis; and <br />WHEREAS, due to a decrease in federal funding and in County funding available for <br />volunteer mileage, mileage funds will probably be depleted before June 30, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8, will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used to supplement RSVP funds for volunteer <br />mileage reimbursement; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.481.5482.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,000 <br />RSVP-OCE <br />(Volunteer Mileage Reimbursement) <br />
