Ford, Council Member ~ ~~ <br />SUBJECT: Transmitting request for Special Committee Meeting on October 21, 2008. <br />I request that a Special Committee Meeting of the Public Works & Intergovernmental Relations <br />Committee (PWIRC) be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 6:30 PM from the Sheraton <br />Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa in Kailua-Kona after the regular committee meetings. This <br />meeting will be video-conferenced between the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resor[ Council Room, <br />the Hilo Council Chamber, and Waimea Council office. <br />The PWIRC Special Committee Meeting will discuss the Strawberry Guava and the potential <br />release of Tectococcus ovatus (scale).
