Yamashiro, dated May 18, ] 998, reports as follows: <br /> The purpose of Communication No. 856 is to recommend the appointment of the following <br /> individual as a member of the Hawaii County Kailua Village Design Commission <br /> Mr. Charles R. Cartwright of Kona, is nominated to fill the vacancy created by the <br /> unexpired term ending December 31, 1999 of Mr. Lloyd S. Nakano of Kona whose <br /> employment required him to move out-of-state. <br /> Mr. Cartwright, of no political affiliation, is a life-time resident of Hawaii. He has been <br /> the President of Big Island Inspection Services since 1987.
