No. 1395/Bi11352 <br />PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br />78-128 Ehukai Street <br />Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 <br />TIME: 2:15 p.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred Communication <br />No. 1395, regarding Bill 352, reports as follows: <br />Bill 352, transmitted by Director of Public Works Bruce McClure, via Communication No. 1395, dated <br />August 13, 2008 amends Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-273, schedule 21 (Permitted U-turn <br />areas), paragraph (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is amended <br />by repealing and deleting subparagraph (1), as follows, with the remaining clauses to be appropriately <br />renumbered: <br />of/11 1.,4.,.,.0,.4:,... ,.F V,..,.,.hn«.nhn.~. A..o.,,.o ...,.J C6:...,,..., Ct.nnr Y~ <br />L\~~ ""11 O1vuvn vaimrn,. <br />Department of Public Works Civil Engineer Aaron Takaba appeared before your committee and <br />commented that the intent of this amendment is to update the Hawaii County Code to reflect the revised <br />traffic pattern in this area.
