In our earlier letter to you, we indicated additional data might be required to complete our review of the request. The data required to complete our review, which must be submitted within 90 days of the date of this letter, are listed below. • The requested revision will shift or increase the width of the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the flood having a 1-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood), and increase the base flood elevations (BFEs) for portions of Alenaio Stream. During a telephone conversation on September 10, 1998, with a member of your staff, we were informed that the county is purchasing drainage easements from all property owners affected by the revised SFHA width and BFEs.
