COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />'791 OS <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPI201'RIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island is facing a shortfall of $334,300 <br />for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 due to a reduction in funding from governmental grants and private <br />sources; and <br />WHEREAS, specifically, the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island's unit in Pahoa has a <br />shortfall of $27,000; and <br />WHEREAS, the Pahoa unit is located at the Yahoa High and Intermediate School and <br />has 136 registered members; and <br />WHEREAS, the Pahoa unit is very active in providing youth development and <br />prevention programs; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to <br />the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to be used for operational expenses for the Boys and Girls <br />Club of the Big Island's Pahoa unit; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVEll BY TIIE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $13,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.510 L91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $13,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.271.5271.02 Office of the Prosecuting Attorney $13,000 <br />Prosecuting Alty OCE <br />(Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island Pahoa) <br />
