COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />801 08 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the Envision Downtown Hilo 2025 (EDH 2025) Community-Based Vision <br />and Living Action Plan was developed through a grassroots effort in order to create a unified <br />vision for the future of Downtown Hilo; and <br />WHEREAS, Phase II, implementation of the plan, called for the creation of a new <br />volunteer committee called the VisionKeepers to keep the plan alive, visible, and off the shelf; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the VisionKeepers have developed a support network with Lead Solution <br />Partners (e.g., County government, community organizations, etc.) who have committed to <br />helping with implementing the plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the VisionKeepers will initiate the extensive community involvement <br />process necessary for the five-yeaz Action Plan Update to be unveiled in eazly 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, contingency relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the <br />Planning Department towazds the EDH 2025 VisionKeepers' hosting a town meeting, providing <br />assistance to Lead Solution Partners, producing the second EDH 2025 Annual Report, and <br />creating a revised Action Plan Matrix -Public Review Draft; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $10,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $10,000 <br />
