No. 762-08 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 1:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 762-08, reports as follows: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 762-08, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 371 by Director of Finance <br /> William Takaba, via Communication No. 1478, dated October 7, 2008, authorizes the acceptance <br /> of a monetary donation from the Hawaii Police Athletic Federation. <br /> <br /> The Hawaii Police Athletic Federation has graciously donated $1,000 to the Hawaii County <br /> Police Department's Hawaii Isle Police Activities League (HI-PAL) program. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. <br /> <br /> A letter of appreciation will be sent to the Hawaii Police Athletic Federation, P.O.
