COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />821 ®8 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) , <br />WHEREAS, the annual holiday parade in Pahoa has become an attraction to the historic <br />town for tourists and residents alike; and <br />WHEREAS, the parade calls attention to the diversity in Puna and is an opportunity for <br />the community [o gather in celebration; and <br />WHEREAS, the foot traffic through the heritage corridor for Pahoa creates community <br />pride and promotes patronage of local businesses that keeps the historic town alive; and <br />WHEREAS, Malama O Puna, a 501 (c) 3 organization is acting as a fiscal sponsor for <br />Mainstreet Pahoa Association; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Research and Development for Malama O Puna to aid Mainstreet Pahoa <br />Association in putting on the holiday parade; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-CouncilSVC-Contingency Relief $1,500 <br />CREDITED "f0: <br />010.161.5162.65 Department of Research and Development $1,500 <br />New Industry & Industry Development <br />Misc.
