T o , <br />Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Members of the County Council: ~'~ ~'' <br />~. c~ <br />SUBJECT: HIGHWAY FUND FUND BALANCE <br />Pursuant to Section 10-8 of the Hawai `i County Charter relating to supplemental appropriations, . <br />i arim taking this means to certify that there is a balance of $3,307,209.24 in the Highway Fund fund <br />balance as of June 30, 2008. <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by increasing the Highway <br />Fund's Fund Balance of the Previous Year account by $1,567,394 and then appropriating it to <br />various traffic division, highway maintenance, and transit accounts.
