No. 1052Bi11 No. 336 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:40 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 336, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 336, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 1052, dated <br /> October 21, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 98-50, as amended, the Capital Budget ending June 30, 1999. <br /> This bill will provide emergency power and pumping capabilities for the wastewater facilities island-wide <br /> in the event of tsunami or other natural disaster. The work will include the following: (1) 600 kw <br /> generator, (2) 2-6 in portable pumps, and (3) 2 10-in portable pumps. Work will also include electrical <br /> and mechanical modifications to the Hilo WTP, Pua SPS, Kealakehe SPS, Hale Halawai SPS, and Wailoa <br /> SPS. The amendment adds the following projects: <br /> PUBLIC WORKS: <br /> Hazard Mitigation for Wastewater-FEMA $293,785 <br /> (110-699-6699.12-115) <br /> Hazard Mitigation for Wastewater-DBEDT 9,500 <br /> (I10-699-5699.13-I15) <br /> Hazard Mitigation for Wastewater-ERF 150,000 <br /> (110-699.5699.14-115) <br /> Hazard Mitigation for Wastewater-CTY 346.'715 <br /> (110-699-5699.15-115) <br /> 800 000 <br /> <br /> Funds for these appropriations shall be provided from: <br /> Federal Grants Receivable $293,785 <br /> State Grants Receivable 9,500 <br /> Sewer Fund 150,000 <br /> General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund, Fund Balance 346,715 <br /> And or/Other Sources <br /> 800 000 <br /> <br /> wi <br /> FC REPORT 313 <br /> <br />
