COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br />A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the Kurtistown Ohana Fun Day event is scheduled for January 10, 2009, <br />at the Kurtistown Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this event is to create a positive atmosphere, promote <br />family activities, and to encourage residents to become active participants in the community; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this smoke-, alcohol-, and drug-free event will include informational <br />booths, entertainment, an exhibition T-Ball game, and free hotdogs and refreshments; and <br />WHEREAS, organizations involved in the planning include the Department of Parks <br />and Recreation, Police Department, HIPAL, Queen Lili`uokalani Children's Center, Salvation <br />Army, Puna Congregational Church, Neighborhood Place of Puna, Holy Rosary Church, and <br />the Puna Community Action Team; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated <br />to the Department of Parks and Recreation, Culture and Community Arts Section to be used <br />towards the Kurtistown Ohana Fun Day event; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $1,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5517.21 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,000 <br />Culture & Arts Class/Activities <br />(Kurtistown Ohana Fun Day) <br />
