COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />~.7 A9 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF TWO (2) RUFFNECK <br />BASKETBALL SYSTEMS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION <br />WHEREAS, Ka'u Ho'olaule'a Ltd. has donated two RuffNeck basketball systems to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation for use at the Na'alehu Basketball Courts; and <br />WHEREAS, this donation has a estimated total value of $2,618; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on <br />behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this donation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in <br />accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of Hawaii <br />accepts this donation. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Ms. Patty Fujimoto, Ka'u <br />Ho'olaule'a Ltd., P.O.
