No. 318-98 <br /> PLACE: Councikoom <br /> TIME: 11:45 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 318-98, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 318-98, transmitted by Corporation Counsel Richazd D. Wurdeman, dated August 31, <br /> 1998, via Communication No. 969, authorizes the Mayor to enter into a Negotiated Agreement for <br /> Services GOCY 96-08-OS with the Department of Human Services for a Child Care Coordinator. <br /> The State Department of Human Services has authorized funding for a County of Hawaii Child Care <br /> Coordinator who shall serve under the supervision of the Office of the Mayor in cooperation with the <br /> Mayor's Advisory Committee on Children and Youth. <br /> Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, County departments must obtain the consent of the <br /> Council to enter into agreements with the Federal or State governments respecting action to be taken <br /> <br /> _ . pivsuant to any.of the-pnwer_cgranted by law.to.fumishrexpend,_and_receive any fimdsncnther.accistance <br /> in connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers. <br /> The Mayor is hereby authorized and designated to enter into the Negotiated Agreement for Services <br /> GOCY 96-08-05, which will effectuate these purposes. <br /> Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 318-98 and <br /> recommends its adoption. <br /> lci <br /> Ayn N•a AAE E" Respectfully submitted <br /> CHUNG X <br /> LEITHEAD-TODD X C MITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> RAY X <br /> SANTANGELO X S <br /> sMtTH X AARON S.Y.
