No. 314-98 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> <br /> TIME: 11:45 A.h1. <br /> <br /> Chair and M~~ttbers <br /> <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee nn Finance. to which was referred Resolution No. 314-98, reports as follows: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 314-98, transmitted by Finance llirector Harry Takahashi, dated August 19. 1998, via <br /> <br /> Communication No. 959, authorizes the Mayor of the County of Hawaii to enter into an agreement with <br /> <br /> the United States of America for a Violence .against Children Grant. <br /> <br /> The United States of America, through the State Department of the Attorney General Crime Prevention and <br /> <br /> Justice Assistance llivision. is desirous of providing funding to improve the quahty of investigation into <br /> <br /> extrafamilial and intrafamilial senlal and physical abuse of children. <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Section 46-7.
