I have two children, Scott (born February 13, 1994), and <br /> Kaitlyn (born September 26, 1996) who attend Kamehameha Schools. <br /> I have practiced law in the State of Hawaii since my graduation from Law School <br /> and admission to the Hawaii State Bar in 1987. 1 am licensed to practice law before the <br /> State and Federal Courts in Hawaii, and the United States Supreme Court. <br /> I have instructed at the Hawaii Community College and the University of Hawaii at <br /> Hilo in criminal law, criminal procedure, and constitutional law. I presently instruct at the <br /> University of Hawaii at Hilo in the Political Science Department. <br /> 1 am proficient in the Japanese language. I enjoy cooking, basketball and other <br /> sports, and my family.
