No. 838Bi11 No. 244 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:30 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 244, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 244, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 268-98 by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, <br /> via Communication No. 838, dated May 1, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 97-83, the Operating <br /> Budget, as amended, ending June 30, 1998, as follows: <br /> FROM: <br /> 3302.31 Federal Grants -Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault General $52,278 <br /> <br /> TO: <br /> <br /> 010-201-5219.64-1 IS Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault General $52,278 <br /> <br /> These funds will be used to train the Hawaii County Police Department's first line supervisors and <br /> <br /> detectives on domestic violence and sexual assault investigations, as well as provide supplies such <br /> <br /> as 35mm cameras and video tapes to help with training and investigations.
