COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 30 D9 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPOPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the annual Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival promotes the arrival <br />of "Hanami" or the coming of spring through a vaziety of cultural demonstrations, craft exhibits <br />and specialty activities throughout Waimea town; and <br />WHEREAS, the Culture & Community Arts Section, Department of Parks & Recreation, <br />has requested financial aid to help fund Special Duty officers to ensure traffic safety and parking <br />at multiple venues; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 for $2,000 will be <br />appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to provide financial assistance for the <br />2009 Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: GENERAL <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation, <br />Culture & Arts OCE <br />$2,000 <br />$2,000 <br />(2009 Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival) <br />
