No. 264-98 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:30 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 264-98, reports as follows: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 264-98, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 231 by Finance Director Harry <br /> <br /> Takahashi, dated Apri122, 1998, authorizes the County of Hawaii to enter into an agreement <br /> <br /> with the Organized Crime Enforcement Task Force through the Drug Enforcement <br /> <br /> Administration. <br /> <br /> The Organized Crime Enforcement Task Force through the Drug Enforcement Administration is <br /> <br /> desirous of providing funding for expenses for overtime and travel costs incurred during specific <br /> <br /> investigations and prosecutions. <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Federal government may enter into <br /> <br /> agreements with the Council of the County of Hawaii providing the expenditures or receipt of <br /> <br /> funds or for other assistance.
