No. 33/Bill No. 7 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which .vas referred Bill No. 7, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 7, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 33, dated <br />December 2, 2008, amends Ordinance No. 08-79, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending June 30, 2009, <br />by adding the following project: <br />PUBLIC WORKS: <br />Bridge Repairs-Islandwide $2,500,000 <br />(110.399.5399.53) <br />Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from: <br />General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - $2,500,000 <br />Fund Balance and/or Other Sources <br />Pursuant to Section 10-6(d), Hawai`i County Charter, the Council may amend the Capital Budget for that <br />year with atwo-thirds vote. <br />Councilmember Hoffmann requested a breakdown of what bridges are going to be repaired and how <br />much money was going to be allocated to each project. Finance Director Nancy Crawford stated that there <br />were no projects ready to go out to bid but would provide a breakdown to the Council prior to the next <br />meeting. <br />Councilmember Ford stated her agreement with Mr. Hoffmanr.'s request and also asked that a list of the <br />types of repairs be provided and questioned if any FEMA money could be involved. Director Crawford' <br />stated that she did not believe any FEMA money was involved but would confirm the information prior to <br />the next meeting. <br />
