<br />'. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />"'1 <br /> <br />~~;J <br />.' ,', I I <br />, ! <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR THE IMPROVEMENT <br />OF THE MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY, FROM KAMAMALU STREET TO LINDSEY ROAD, <br />LOCATED AT WAIMEA, DISTRICT OF SOUTH KOHALA, COUNTY AND STATE OF <br />HAWAII. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That it is necessary for the' public use and purpose, to <br /> <br />wit: the widening, improvement, construction, operation and <br /> <br />maintenance of the Mamalahoa Highway, from Kamamalu Street to <br /> <br />Lindsey Road, situate at Waimea, District of South Kohala, Island, <br /> <br />County and State of Hawaii, to take, acquire and condemn certain <br /> <br />properties with all improvements thereon and appurtenances <br /> <br />thereunto belonging, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, <br /> <br />and to that end and for these purposes the Corporation Counsel of <br />the County of Hawaii be and is hereby authorized and empowered to <br /> <br />initiate proceedings in eminent domain, as provided by <br />Chapter 101, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended, for the taking, <br /> <br />acquisition and condemnation of the properties described in <br /> <br />Exhibits "A" through "H" and shown on location plans marked <br /> <br />Exhibits "1" through "8," all attached hereto and made a part <br /> <br />hereof, together with any adjacent properties necessary for <br />temporary construction purposes, including but not limited to <br /> <br />temporary easements for construction and operations, storage and <br /> <br />disposal areas. <br />
