<br />.--_ 4 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />97 <br /> <br />(DRAFT 2) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF HAWAII TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7. FOR A HAWAII MOBILE VIDEO RECORDER <br />GRANT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the united States of America through the State Department of <br />Transportation Motor Vehicle Safety Office. is desirous of providing funding for <br />expenses to purchase 4 mobile video recorders; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the Hawaii County Police Department is ready and willing to proceed <br />with its obligations under the Mobile Video Recorder Grant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. pursuant to Sections 46-7 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. the <br />Federal government may enter into agreements with the Council of the County of Hawaii <br />providing the expenditures or receipt of funds or for other assistance; <br /> <br />NOW. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the Honorable Stephen K. Yamashiro is hereby authorized and designated to sign in the <br />name of the County Project number 97-J7(03-H-Ol). which will effectuate these <br />purposes. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. that the County Clerk is hereby directed to forward <br />copies of this Resolution to said Mayor Yamashiro. the Chief of Police. and any other <br />interested governmental agencies. <br /> <br />Dated: <br /> <br />Hi10.
