<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />SISTER-CITY <br />SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />'At the mutual consent between the County of Hawaii and the Hui <br />Okinawa, it is agreed that the aforementioned parties hereby <br />enter into a "SERVICE AGREEMENT" for the purpose of maintaining <br />and sustaining a viable and meaningful sister-city relationship <br />between the County of Hawaii and the Island of Tasmania, ' ' <br />Australia. <br /> <br />This SERVICE AGREEMENT shall be in conformance with <br />Resolution dated January 22, 1997, and Ordinance 93-102 <br />dated October 8, 1983. <br /> <br />It is hereby attested that the undersigned parties shall, to <br />the best of their ability, agree to the following covenants, to <br />wit: <br /> <br />COUNTY RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />. Initiate and coordinate the planning of visitations to <br />Tasmania, Australia; said visitations are recommended <br />to occur once every five years as stated in <br />Ordinance 93-102. <br /> <br />. Accord mailing services as requested by the Rotary <br />Club of North Hawaii. <br /> <br />. Provide and/or share entertainment, meal and <br />logistical expe~ses. <br /> <br />. Provide and/or share expenses for gifts, mementos, <br />leis, etc. <br /> <br />. Transmit the Count y's, annual report, applicable <br />brochures, other documents of interest, and video <br />tapes as appropriate. <br /> <br />. Document visitations to include pictorial account; of <br />important events in the relationship. <br /> <br />ROTARY CLUB OF NORTH HAWAII RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />. Assist in the coordinating and planning of official <br />visitations. <br /> <br />. Assist in the hosting of sister-city guests, be it on <br />formal visitations or courtesy calls. <br /> <br />. On private sector tours to Tasmania, visitors may' <br />serve as the County's ambassadors ,of goodwill and <br />deliver appropriate greetings and mementos from the <br />County. ' <br />
