I COUNTY OF HAWAII . STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 28 97 RESOLUTION CREATING TWO TEMPORARY LEGISLATIVE ASSISTANT POSTIONS FOR A TERM TO END JUNE 30, 1997 WHEREAS, the inauguration of the Hawai'i County Council Members was on December 2, 1996; and WHEREAS, the Council Members have appointed their staff; and WHEREAS, the Council desires to provide continuity in major projects, such as the Kona Water Improvement District and the Kalaoa Roadway Plan, coupled with support during the County budget review and the 1997 Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, in order to provide this continuity and staff support, it is necessary to create two temporary legislative assistant positions; and WHEREAS, these two positions will be filled until June 30, 1997. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HA W AI'I that two temporary legislative assistant positions be created for a term ending June 30, 1997. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk is hereby directed to forward copies of this resolution to the Department of Civil Service and the Department of Finance.
