<br />--- -. -------- <br />. . <br /> <br />~ - - - -- ~ -- --- - ------ - ----- -~~---- <br /> <br />l.. __ .- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A THREE-WAY GATED <br />WATER MANIFOLD APPLIANCE FROM CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES, hereinafter <br /> <br />referred to as CMS, has donated a three-way gated water manifold <br /> <br />appliance to the Hawaii County Fire Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the value of this donation is NINE HUNDRED FIFTEEN <br /> <br />AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($915.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, acceptance of this three-way gated water manifold <br /> <br />appliance will increase the firefighting ability of the Hawaii <br /> <br />County Fire Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County <br />Charter, provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may <br /> <br />accept gifts of donations of money, securities or other personal <br /> <br />property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY <br /> <br />OF HAWAII, in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the <br /> <br />Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii is authorized to <br /> <br />accept the donation of a three-way gated water manifold appliance <br /> <br />from Construction Management Services. <br />
