<br />r <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />-----~----- <br />----- -- -.--.--- --- ----- --- ---- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />83 <br /> <br />97 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION INCREASING TIME ELEMENT OF TWO (2) PARK CARETAKERS FOR <br />KA'U AND KONA. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, with the addition of the new Kahuku Park in the <br /> <br />Hawaiian Oceanview Subdivision and the expansion by nine (9) acres <br /> <br />of the Old Kona Airport sports complex, maintenance in the districts <br /> <br />of Ka'u and Kona are inadequate; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by increasing the time element of Park Caretaker I <br />2/5T, Position No. 3286, in the Ka'u District, the extended hours <br /> <br />for the weekend worker will greatly help in maintaining the parks <br /> <br />during the week days; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by increasing the time element of Park Caretaker I <br /> <br />21ST, Position No. 3127, in the Kona District, the additional <br /> <br />manpower hours would ease in maintaining the facilities to a <br /> <br />respectable standard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the regular salaries and <br /> <br />wages account of the Parks Maintenance to cover the cost of the <br /> <br />additional time element. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> <br />HAWAII that Position Nos. 3286 and 3127, Park Caretaker I 2/5T, <br />WB-02, be changed to Park Caretaker I, WB-02. <br />
