<br />~, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />---' <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />89 97 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION INCREASING TIME ELEMENT AND REALLOCATION OF FACILITY <br />MAINTENANCE & SERVICE WORKER I 1/2T TO BUILDING MAINTENANCE REPAIRER <br />FOR HOOLULU PARK COMPLEX. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parks Maintenance Division assists in repairs, <br /> <br />plumbing and electrical work to the deteriorating Hoolulu Park <br /> <br />Complex; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the dependency on other divisions or agencies to assist <br /> <br />in correcting facility breakdowns or deficiencies have hindered <br /> <br />services to facility users; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for better service with fewer breakdowns to eliminate <br /> <br />long periods of facility closure during emergencies or to eliminate <br /> <br />the need to wait for services from another division, a repairer can <br /> <br />provide immediate repairs to the facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by reallocating Position No. 2850, Facility Maintenance <br /> <br />& Service Worker I 1/2T, BC-03, to Building Maintenance Repairer, <br /> <br />BC-09, and increasing the time element from half-time to fulltime, <br /> <br />an enhanced preventive maintenance program can be instituted to <br /> <br />eliminate breakdowns and the closure of facilities to a minimum; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the regular salaries and <br /> <br />wages account of the Department of Parks & Recreation, Hoolulu Park <br /> <br />Complex Division. <br />
