<br />4-. _e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />90 97 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CREATING A PARK CARETAKER I 2/5T FOR THE PUNA DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, an additional three (3) acres have been added at <br />Shipman for a soccer field; three (3) acres at the new Aquatic <br />Center; and another two (2) acres at Hawaiian Beaches; and <br />WHEREAS, maintenance at the Cooper Center has been also been <br />added to the responsibilities of the current park caretakers in the <br />Puna District; and <br />WHEREAS, these additional duties have prompted the department to <br />switch one park caretaker who worked on the weekends to forty (40) <br />hours during the week; and <br />WHEREAS, a weekend employee is needed to handle the cleanup of <br />all of the parks because of heavy usage; and <br />WHEREAS, by creating one (1) Park Caretaker I 2/5T, BC-02 <br />position for the Puna District, maintenance on weekends and holidays <br />can be provided; and <br />WHEREAS, funds are available in the Department of Parks & <br />Recreation, Parks Maintenance's Regular Salaries and Wages account. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br />HAWAII that one (1) Park Caretaker I 2/5T, BC-02, be created. <br />
