<br />.... ~ -...... <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-< !!ill." <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />91 97 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION INCREASING TIME ELEMENT AND REALLOCATION OF BUILDING <br />CUSTODIAN I 1/2T TO PARK CARETAKER I. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the North Kohala District does not have a position that <br /> <br />works weekends to clean the various parks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the King Kamehameha Statue attracts many tourists over <br /> <br />the weekend, and the restrooms and surrounding areas need to be <br /> <br />cleaned regularly; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an additional five (5) acres have been added to the <br /> <br />Hisaoka Gym area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, cleaning up is currently done either on Saturday or <br /> <br />Sunday, whenever employees are willing to work overtime; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by reallocating Position No. 2852, Building Custodian I <br />1/2T, BC-02, to Park Caretaker I, BC-02, and increasing the time <br /> <br />element from half-time to fulltime, weekend coverage for restroom <br /> <br />sanitation and rubbish pickup will be accomplished, as well as on <br /> <br />the holidays; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the regular salaries and <br /> <br />wages account of the Department of Parks & Recreation, Parks <br /> <br />Maintenance Division. <br />
