No. 205 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 11:00 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 205, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 205, transmitted by Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, via Communication No. 640, <br /> dated December 15, 1997, approves cost items agreed upon by the Employers and the Hawaii <br /> Government Employees Association (I-IGEA) for bargaining unit 02 for the period July 1, 1997, <br /> through June 30, 1999. <br /> The cost items aze a continuation of step movements, a 2.49% across-the-board increase on <br /> Januazy I, 1998, a 2.50 %across-the-board increase on July 1, 1998, and an increase in night <br /> differential pay for $.45 to $.55 per hour effective July 1, 1997. The estimated cost to the <br /> County of Hawaii for the aforementioned negotiated cost items will be $146,855. Additional <br /> adjustments such as employer's contribution to the Employee Retirement System, vacation, <br /> holiday, and sick leave repazations will increase the total cost to $188,344.
