No. 46 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 46, reports as follows: <br />Communication No. 46, transmitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated December 16, 2008, <br />requests the confirmation of the appointment of Ms. Nancy Crawford as Director of Finance for <br />the County of Hawaii. <br />Ms. Crawford has served the County of Hawaii as Deputy Director of Finance from July 2001 <br />to December 1, 2008. Prior to that she served as business manager for the County of Hawaii <br />Department of Public Works from July 1997 to July 2001. She will serve a term that is <br />co-terminus with Mayor Kenoi, which will end on December 3, 2012 <br />Pursuant to Article V, Section 5-3.2, Hawaii County Charter, "The director of finance shall be <br />appointed by the mayor, confirmed by the council and may be removed by the mayor.
