<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. ... <br />.-.' <br />~. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAW~ll. .~:/{$TATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />'\ -(~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />';-'0 ,/ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF HAWAII TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, FOR MARIJUANA ERADICATION GRANT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the United States of America through the U.S. Department of Justice <br />Drug Enforcement Administration, is desirous of providing funding for expenses for <br />the eradication and suppression of illicit marijuana; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Police Department is ready and willing to proceed <br />with its obligations for the Marijuana Eradication Program, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 46-7 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, the <br />Federal government may enter into agreements with the Council of the County of Hawaii <br />providing the expenditures or receipt of funds or for other assistance; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the Honorable Stephen K.
