<br />--- --~ -.- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />123 97 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF REAL <br />PROPERTY FROM STERLING JACK LUM CHOW AND LESLIE SOOK-HEE CHOW; TAX <br />MAP KEY (3)2-8-02:003(PORTION). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, STERLING JACK LUM CHOW and LESLIE SOOK-HEE CHOW are the <br /> <br />owners of real property at Kaupakuea, District of South Hilo, Island, County and State of <br /> <br />Hawaii, specifically identified as Tax Map Key (3)2-8-02:003(portion); consisting of 0.43 acre, <br /> <br />being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and delineated on Exhibit "B" attached hereto; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County homestead road (Kaupakuea Homestead Road) infringes upon <br /> <br />the subject property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, STERLING JAC~ LUM CHOW and LESLIE SOOK-HEE CHOW have <br /> <br />graciously donated this property to the County of Hawaii; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the <br /> <br />Council, on behalf of the County of Hawaii, may accept gifts or donations of real property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> <br />HAWAII, that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the <br /> <br />County of Hawaii accepts this donation of real property, identified as Tax Map <br /> <br />Key (3)2-8-02:003, consisting of 0.43 acre, from STERLING JACK LUM CHOW and LESLIE <br /> <br />SOOK-HEE CHOW. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />of. <br /> <br />- -~ <br />
