<br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />135 97 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF THE KEAUHOU FIRE <br />STATION, NORTH KONA, FROM KAMEHAMEHA SCHOOLS/BISHOP ESTATE, <br />TAX MAP KEY NO. (3) 3-7-8:07, TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kamehameha Schools/Bishop Estate, a Hawaii non-profit <br /> <br />corporation, is the owner of a parcel of real property located in Keauhou, North Kona, the <br /> <br />site of the Keauhou Fire Station, specifically identified as Tax Map Key No. (3) 3-7-8:07, <br /> <br />being more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kamehameha Schools/Bishop Estate has constructed the Keauhou <br /> <br />Fire Station upon the property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kamehameha Schools/Bishop Estate has received approval from the <br /> <br />County of Hawaii's Department of Public Works, Department of Water Supply and the <br /> <br />Planning Department for the construction of the fire station, and are desirous of <br /> <br />dedicating the subject parcels to the County of Hawaii; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the subject fire station has been completed according to County of <br /> <br />Hawaii standards and is in acceptable condition for dedication; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides <br /> <br />that the Council may accept gifts which include the dedication of land on behalf of the <br /> <br />County of Hawaii; <br />
