No. 179 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 11:05 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 179, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 179, transmitted by Finance Committee Chair Aaron Chung, dated October 28, <br /> 1997, via Communication No. 558.02, urges the State Department of Transportation Airports <br /> Division to implement recommendations as delineated in the Hilo International Airport Federal <br /> Air Regulation (FAR) Part 150 Noise Compatibility Program (NCP) Report. <br /> The 1992 Hilo International Airport NCP was a voluntary program initiated by the State and <br /> FAA to study noise abatement measures. At the conclusion of the study, a report was prepared <br /> <br /> which established a system for the measurement of airport noise and land use planning.
