<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funding is available for this agreement pursuant to the Public <br /> <br /> <br />Housing Drug Elimination Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br /> <br /> <br />Development, in the amount of$75,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 46-8, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended, the <br /> <br />Governor of the State of Hawaii may enter into agreements with the Council of the <br /> <br />County of Hawaii providing for the co-sponsorship and joint development and <br /> <br />maintenance of programs and projects which have been authorized by the legislature. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HA WAIl, that the Council Chairperson, is hereby authorized and <br /> <br /> <br />designated to sign in the name of the Council of the County of Hawaii Agreement <br /> <br /> <br />No. H-I08DEPOOI95, to implement the Public Housing Drug Elimination Program. <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the County of Hawaii is <br /> <br /> <br />authorized to sign the above-noted agreement and any related documents on behalf of the <br /> <br />County of Hawaii pursuant to the Hawaii County Charter. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 152 97 <br />
