Public Access: There is no record of a designated public access to the shoreline or <br />mountain areas that traverses the property. <br />PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br />23. Access: The primary access to the project site is proposed from Hualani Street, which has <br />aright-of--way width of approximately 40 feet. The second access from Manono Street <br />would be limited to ingress only. Manono Street, with aright-of--way of 50 feet with <br />graveled shoulders, is designated as a secondary arterial. The City of Hilo Zone Map <br />designates Manono Street as a 60-foot right-of--way. The Department of Public Works <br />(DPW) recommends a) a no access easement be placed along the frontage of Manono <br />Street; and b) provide a minimum 20-foot corner radius at the intersection of Manono and <br />Hualani Streets incorporating future road widening setbacks as established by the Planning <br />Department. The applicants agree to set aside five (5) feet of their property to <br />accommodate the road widening on both streets. <br />24. Water: County water is available to the project area. <br />25. Wastewater: The project azea is serviced by a County sewer system. <br />26. Solid Waste: Solid waste will be handled by commercial haulers. <br />27. Essential Utilities and Services: Electricity and telephone services are available to the <br />project site.
