<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />t, ~I <br />(\J(\\.:J.AM)t.,j'...- <br /> <br />. ~. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAJl,: 'STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THIRTY-TWO ROYAL PALMS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Puna Geothermal Venture has donated thirty-two Royal Palms to the <br />County of Hawaii, Parks and Recreation Department, for the Hawaiian Beaches Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the value of the donated palms is Three Thousand Two Hundred Dollars <br />($3200.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the <br />Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br />HA WAIl that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the <br />County of Hawaii, Department of Parks and Recreation, is authorized to accept the donation of <br />thirty-two Royal Palms from Puna Geothermal Venture. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Department of Parks and Recreation, upon the <br />receipt of the Royal Palms, is directed to send a letter of thanks to Barry Mizuno, Financial <br />Manager, Puna Geothermal Venture at P.O.
