No. 145 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> <br /> TIME: 10:40 A.M. <br /> <br /> Chair and Members <br /> <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 145, reports as follows: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 145, transmitted by Chief Engineer Donna Fay K. Kiyosaki P.E., via <br /> <br /> Communication No. 449, dated July 31, 1997, authorizes the Mayor to enter into amulti-year <br /> <br /> Rider M, Option B Agreement with the Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc. (HELLO) for the <br /> <br /> Kealakehe Wastewater Treatment Plant (W WTP), and provides for funds to be budgeted for the <br /> <br /> appropriate future fiscal years. <br /> By entering into a Rider M, Option B Agreement with HELLO for the WWTP facility, the <br /> annual electricity cost savings to Hawaii County would be approximately $36,420 per year. <br /> <br /> As a safeguazd, both athree-year and five-year agreement is required since HELLO is required to <br /> <br /> obtain Public Utilities Commission (PUC) approval for three-year agreements.
