COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />5~ 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br />A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the annual Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival promotes the <br />arrival of "Hanami" or the coming of Spring through a variety of cultural demonstrations, craft <br />exhibits, food, entertainment and other special activities throughout Waimea town; and <br />WHEREAS, the Culture and Arts Section, Department of Parks & Recreation, has <br />requested financial aid for costs associated with conducting the overall Festival; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used towards the 2009 Waimea Cherry Blossom <br />Heritage Festival; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation <br />Culture & Arts OCE <br />(2009 Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage <br />Festival) <br />$1,000 <br />$1,000 <br />
