<br />__~-==-____.~_ _-.-__0 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />191 B7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION INCREASING TIME ELEMENT OF PROGRAM <br />SPECIALIST (ELDERLY) FROM 3/4T TO FULL TIME <br /> <br />~I <br />I <br />, <br />\ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Position No. 3771, Program Specialist (Elderly) 3/4T, <br />SR-22, is assigned to the Office of Aging at its Kona office; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this position is responsible for developing and <br />providing island-wide caregiver support and case management <br />services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the growing number of older persons and <br />caregivers who need this service, it has been difficult to achieve the <br />demands of the position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, many of the training sessions, meetings, and <br />hearings are held during the evenings and on weekends; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by increasing the time element from 3/4T to full time, <br />this position would be better able to carry out the commitments to its <br />clientele; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funding for this ~dditional time will be provided by <br />Title III of the Older Americans Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funds are available in the Area Plan on Aging <br />Miscellaneous Contractual Services account. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII that Position No. 3771, Program Specialist <br />(Elderly) 3/4T, SR-22, be changed to Full Time. <br />
