<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />._ ---.....e__e <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />221 98 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF HAW All TO ENTER INTO <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS FOR HA-98/99-2-A, HA-I1IA-98-3-N, ADM-4-97-8, AND <br />HA-98-1-N, WITH THE EXECUTIVE OFFICE ON AGING, OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR, <br />STATE OF HAWAII, PURSUANT TO HRS SECTION 46-8, WHEREBY THE STATE OF <br />HAWAII PROVIDES FUNDS TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII OFFICE OF AGING TO <br />MAINTAIN PROGRAMS RELEVANT TO THE NEEDS OF THE ELDERLY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 126-97, the County Council of the County of <br />Hawaii authorized and designated its Council Chairperson to sign Contracts HA-98/99-2-A and <br />HA-98"71-N in the name ofthe Council ofthe County of Hawaii; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Office on Aging, Office of the Governor, State of Hawaii, has <br />informed the County of Hawaii Office of Aging that the funding level of Contract No. HA-98-1- <br />N has been increased from $701,761.00 to $725,812.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the increase in funding level will require the execution of a supplemental <br />agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current economic situation of the State of Hawaii makes changes in <br />funding levels for all grant contracts a likely possibility. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br />HAWAII that the Council Chairperson is hereby authorized and designated to sign in the name <br />ofthe Council ofthe County of Hawaii supplemental agreements to Contracts HA-98/99-2-A, <br />HA-I1IA-98-3-N, ADM-4-97-8, and HA-98-1-N. <br />
